Each year the County Planners Association has an annual Summertime meeting that showcases a unique location with in our Presidents home County. In June of 2018 we held out Annual Summer Meeting in Ocean Grove. On June 15th over 30 members met at the Historical Society Museum on Pitman Avenue and took the opportunity to view the displays. We broke into two groups to tour Auditorium Square Park and learn about the historic buildings that line the square. The groups came together to visit the Great Auditorium and hear about the history of the building, the massive pipe organ, and the Camp Meeting Association. We split again into two groups to visit 2 homes in the unique tent colony that dates back to the original camp meeting in 1869. Lastly we held a brief NJCPA meeting and enjoyed lunch at the Starving Artist Restaurant. Following lunch several members continued the tour and visited Centennial Cottage while others enjoyed dessert from Days Ice Cream.
